PADI Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) Diver

 

If scuba diving is like taking a scenic stroll around a park, a Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) is like exploring a neighborhood on an (electric) bicycle. 

DPVs, also called underwater scooters, allow you to see more, conserve air and get from one place to another faster - with a huge smile on your face.


Requirement
- PADI Open Water Diver Certification Card (or a qualifying certification card from another agency)

- Minimum age requirement: 12 years old

Course structure

The PADI Diver Propulsion Vehicle course ensures that you learn safe handling of a DPV. During practice dives, you will learn about:

  • Maintaining your DPV

  • How to plan dives, including procedures for staying with your buddy

  • DPV handling skills, such as making proper descents and ascents

  • Potential problems and how to deal with them

Two practice dives will be completed in one day.

Course fee
HK$1,600 per person (Theory only)
Fun dive coupon can be use for open water training.

*HSBC Credit Cards: 6-month Instalment, AE Card: 12-month

(1) PADI DPV Diver manual (manual not included with e-Learning)
(2) Use of DPV for training
