The W50 Plate can be attached to a housing with 20 mm/0.8 inch to 36 mm/1.4 inch between tripod screw holes, and a variety of adapters are also attachable other than a housing.
The W50 Plate can be also attached on the bottom of the Grip Base D5 or Quick Shoe Main Base to hold the entire camera system on a tripod etc.
