When driving instructors teach us to drive, they emphasize the importance of "man and machine as one," meaning your driving skills are highly refined, and you've reached a point where you're inseparable from the car, allowing you to safely control it on the road.
| Requirement | PADI Open Water or Junior Open Water Diver Certificate, or other qualified certificate from another organization. Minimum age limit: 10 years old. |
| Course Structure | When diving, do you ever want to be completely at ease? To become like a fish, safely controlling your buoyancy to achieve a state of "man and vessel as one." In the Peak Performance Buoyancy specialty course, you'll use PADI's basic weighting principles to determine the weight of your buoyancy bars. Then, in two open water dives, you'll practice peak performance buoyancy techniques, including buoyancy checks, underwater fine-tuning, adjusting weight positions, streamlining, and visualization. |
